Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We are open every day over the Festive season except Public Holidays and also 31st December. Some days we may work reduced hours so please leave a message and we will get back to you asap.


We have 1:1 and group reformer Pilates, strength, injury rehabilitation and strength and balance classes.  Each small class program is tailored to individual participants, so everyone does the most appropriate exercises for them.

John Pompei has just returned from a stint working at the Commonwealth Games where he worked with Squash, Table Tennis and Boxing.  It was a great experience and reward for John’s efforts as a physiotherpist over the past 12 years.

Bayden Campbell has been working hard covering time while John was away as well as working with Old Camberwell, Old Marcellin and Old Xavierians football clubs.  It’s been a busy start to this football season.

Andrew Kokinos has been also busy with the start of the AFL season.  There has been numerous significant injuries from broken hands, ACL tears, Shoulder dislocation to broken ankles and others.  Any of the injuries needed further scans and orthopaedic follow ups have been achieved super quickly due to our fantastic network of specialists.


We are open all through the Christmas and New Year period apart from the main public holidays (CHristmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day).  We may work a few half days in this period so please leave a message if we dont answer the phones and we will get you an appointment.


Congratulations to Old Camberwell Womens Team on winning the 2017 premiership in the VAFA.  Congratulations also to Old Xavierians Reserves and U19’s teams who also won premierships this year.  We love our involvment in these football teams assisting all things medical.

We have facilitated some recent education sessions with Orthopaedic surgeons and GP clinics to facilitate communication and education amongst our peers.  These sessions have been terrific and a great learning opportunity for us all.

John Pompei recently attended the AFL medical symposium on Grand Final eve for an update on many injuries sustained at AFL level.

In some sad news, our recent receptionist Lynne Sullivan passed away after a short battle with illness.  Lynne was a much loved member of the Peak Physio team and we will miss her dearly.


Congratulations to Old Xavierians Football Club on winning the A Grade Amateur Football Premiership.  Peak Physiotherapy has been aligned with Old Xavierians in all things medical, training of on site trainers (physio and allied health students) and co ordinating rehabilitation for the past 6 years.

John Pompei has completed his Sports Masters and will now be able to apply for his APA Sports Physiotherapist Title.  Well done to John for his commitment to further study and using this to ensure treatments are performed using all the recent evidence based practise.

Bayden and Andrew attended a fabulous education sessionon  on all things radiology at Imaging Associates in Box Hill. They will be able to use this knowledge to better determine the need for and type of scans for an injury.  It will also help them be able to specifically check things they want to look at on radiological images.

John Pompei:

John has recently travelled with the Victorian Metro Basketball team to Adelaide where he was physio to the Gold medal wining team.  John has also spent 2 full time weeks with the North Melbourne Football Club as part of his Sports Masters.  He was able to learn and use the most recent and high level techniques which he has brought back with him to use in his treatments at Peak Physio.

Bayden Campbell:

Bayden has setted into Peak Physio and has already become a popular member of our team.  He is heading up the physio rehab at a few local football clubs and is using his exercise background to provide rehab programs for our patients.


CHRISTMAS HOURS – We are open on most days as normal over the holiday period (except public holidays).  Our physio’s do take some leave over this period so our hours may be reduced a little so please leave a message if you cant get onto us and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

John Pompei:

John has been appointed head Physiotherapist with the Werribee Tigers FC (North Melbourne’s VFL affiliate) and is completing his 2nd year of the Sports Masters Program at LaTrobe University.

Andrew Kokinos:

Andrew has completed a busy year of work and being a dad to his 3rd daughter Abby who was born in January.

Bayden Campbell

Bayden joins us in January 2016 and is covering for Andrew and John’s leave and staying on as a part time physiotherapist.  He will be working 2 afternoons and 2 mornings a week and we are very excited to have him join our team.  Having completed the Doctorate of Physiotherapy program at Melbourne University, he comes armed with the most up to date knowledge and evidence based practice of physiotherapy.

John Pompei has just returned from the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra where he completed an 8 day intensive Sports Physiotherapy course.  He is now armed with the most up to date and cutting edge techniques for a wide range of injuries, especially tendon and muscle injuries.

Andrew Kokinos has welcomed his 3rd daughter, Abby who was born in January.  He will be a busy dad over the coming years and months.
